Andrea Paquin

 

 

Andrea Paquin discovered her deep connection to music at a young age, teaching herself guitar and honing her craft across bass, harmonica, and vocals. Inspired early by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, she developed a rich, multifaceted sound rooted in folk rock storytelling. After a decade performing as bassist and harmony vocalist with The Everyday Visuals, Andrea stepped into her own as a solo artist, releasing five albums of original music.

 

Her work has drawn comparisons to The Indigo Girls, Melissa Etheridge, Tracy Chapman, and Joni Mitchell. Critic Nathalie Levey (Northeast Performer Magazine) describes her voice as “rich, cozy humility” that “tugs at the heartstrings.” Andrea has shared stages with Melissa Ferrick, Howie Day, and Blessed Union of Souls, and performed at Pride festivals nationwide and Canada’s Raise the Roof Women’s Music Festival.

 

A recognized songwriter, she was a finalist in the CT Folk Festival Songwriting Competition and Country 92.5’s Locals Live, earning a performance at Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den, and was named RAW Music Artist of the Year (Connecticut).

 

Offstage, Andrea has spent over 30 years in human services, currently working as a clinical coordinator. Her music and service intersect through benefit performances and weekly livestream concerts launched during COVID, reflecting her ongoing commitment to connection, community, and impact.
