CCA Street Team
Join the new Street Team for the Capitol Center for the Arts, a local nonprofit and an
independent performing arts venue in the capital of New Hampshire and get the inside
scoop on all new shows! You’ll help spread the word about exciting events at both the
Chubb Theatre and the BNH Stage (formerly Bank of NH Stage).
Our Street Team members will support the work of the CCA by:
• Acting as an “ambassador of the arts,” while meeting new people and making new friends.
• Getting excited about our upcoming shows and sharing that enthusiasm with others, whether in-person or on socials, and using our branded hashtags!!
• Posting new flyers at our two venues and throughout many businesses downtown and the greater downtown area.
• Maintaining kind and respectful relationships with business owners, employees, and community members to support good working relationships.
While this position may start as putting up posters and handing out flyers downtown, we’d like it to evolve into keeping a “pulse” on downtown.
We envision this as:
• Helping both local and up-and-coming artists grow their audience by spreading the word about their upcoming show(s).
• Passing out freebies, which may include, but is not limited to, posters or flyers, snap bracelets, buttons, stickers, etc.
• As a BONUS, our newer venue the BNH Stage is a fun, intimate space, where the merch table is easy to find, and the artists are often personable.
What better way to get involved in your local community and meet new people?!

Capitol Center for the Arts is a nonprofit organization that owns and operates two historic theatres in downtown Concord, NH. The first is the 1,304 seat Chubb Theatre, first opened in 1927, as the Capitol Theatre, it fell into disrepair and closed in 1989. Shortly after, the Capitol Center for the Arts was formed and through a significant capital campaign, the theatre was purchased and renovated, reopening in November of 1995. The Chubb Theatre is host to over 150 events and shows each year.
In 2019, the former Concord Theatre, was purchased and renovated into a multi-function venue with flexible seating accommodating up to 424 people. Renamed as the Bank of New Hampshire Stage, this unique, second venue quickly became part of the music scene in Concord and hosted over 120 shows in the 8 months it was open prior to the pandemic. Our 2021-2022 season is now on sale and we anticipate being back at full capacity at the beginning of August.
We offer a great opportunity to work at beautiful facilities with top-notch entertainment, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits: flexible schedules, paid time off, health and life insurance, and Simple IRA with company match. We appreciate your interest.
The Capitol Center for the Arts is committed to equity, diversity and inclusion throughout our organization and all aspects of our work, recognizing this commitment as essential to realizing our mission. Our commitment to EDI fosters a culture where team members can truly belong, contribute, and grow. We believe in each individual’s value and encourage applications from people of any age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, veteran status, and any other characteristic or identity.
